Ahí estaba yo, es decir, Alex. Y mis tres drugos, o sea: Pete, Georgie y Dim. Estábamos sentados en el Milk Bar Korova, exprimiéndonos las rasureras para encontrar algo con qué ocupar la noche. En el Korova Milk Bar servían leche plus. Leche con velloceta o con drencromina, que es lo que estábamos bebiendo. Eso nos aguzaba los sentidos y nos dejaba listos para una nueva sesión de ultraviolencia.
